Gevrey Chambertin wine 2004 Pinot Noir Charles Mignon is produced by reknown wine maker Roux, Pere et Fils. Gevrey-Chambertin wine has a deep color and intense aroma of black currant and other small red fruits. The aroma and taste create a powerful and well balanced Gevrey-Chambertin 2004 Pinot Noir. Hand picked Pinot Noir grapes grown on the slopes of Côte de Nuits' Marly and Chalky soil produce this fine Pinot Noir. It is then fermented 12-15 days in Oak casks before the maturing process of 18 months in French Oak barrels. This Gevrey Chambertin french wine is perfect for spicy food, including game, leg of lamb and stews. Also works well with roast duck and all cheeses except bleu cheese. Drink now through 2015.

Chateau Roux, Pere & Fils is Burgundy, France's largest boutique wine producer. The domaine's vineyards are located throughout the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Châlonnaise areas. They cultivate their different grape varieties, Chardonnay for white
wines and Pinot Noir for red, on east and south-facing slopes, in a clay and chalk soil. Wines are produced using age-old traditions combined with today’s most advanced technologies (especially in terms of temperature control, analysis, and inspection/
sampling). Aged in oak casks for between 12 and 18 months, depending on the vintage and terroir, their wines have been featured in every single industry publication and all their wines have been rated by the most demanding wine critics. White Burgundy wines, benefiting from the best climate of the estate, are rich and complex with hints of vanilla, hazelnut, toasted almonds, yellow peach and honey. Well suited for aging, their red Burgundy wines are full-bodied and elegant, with flavors of fresh red fruits. Charles Mignon is one of the premium labels they use in the United States for their finer wines that are exclusively sold in high-end restaurants and clubs.

"Roux's very rich Gevrey-Chambertin spent 18 months in oak. Powerful and balanced. Capable of aging 12 to 15 years. This is a deep colored red Burgundy with aromas of cherries, and raspberries. On the palate, it is a powerful and well-balanced. medium-bodied wine with good acidity, cherry fruit, and a touch of wood. Its finish is on fruit with light, well-integrated tannins. Serve now to 2015 with leg of lamb, stews, roast duck, or soft cheeses.
